Exactly RM. We proceed accordingly to the nature that the Creator gave us. Unlike all the abominations that you like to quote, we follow the plan of the Creator. The Creator gave us a brain to be used and developed. and if you knew your bible, even the abomination of the god the bible has created did not mind being challenged by man.
Ad don't forget RM, the abomination god of the bible consistantly rewarded so called sinners. eg David - a murderer and adulterer. (may be not adultery as there is fairly strong evidence that he may have been gay.). In other words your god rewards go getters notpeople who spent their days on their knees.
The scientists that you like to quote as being attracted to Jesus you will find are not against science and evolution etc and are where they are in spite of and not because of the bible.

Go and speak to any of the scientists who worked on the Genome project and ask them if they believe in evolution or direct creation. Unlike people who believe the dribble in the bible, you will find that they find no contradiction between a Creator and Evolution.
