Well some of you may remember the days when Firsova was very active on this forum and in many ways I should give them credit for introducing PGC to me. At the time I was invested in a company called MHM and I was of the opinion that Firsova was a troll slamming the company for nothing. Well over time I started to look deeper and in the end realised that MHM management had not been as frank and clear with us. In fact it all came tumbling down ... I had already got out of that so sometimes alternative views are great.
At that time Firsova also mentioned that DVA was a good bet and as such a bet was established - DVA vs PGC first to a $1.00 at the time I think PGC was ahead and has to date mostly been ahead and if you had asked me to bet on it I would have said they were a shoe in for the past year to get there first.
Well DVA was bought out @1.2375 OVH shares for 1 DVA. Today OVH hit 82.5c so that times 1.,2375 means that Firsova owes her partner a set of Bowls... Goodbye to the Prada...
OVH has won the bet first to $1.00.
Now I have the conundrum - is OVH a better share than PGC right now. I own both but I think that PGC is lagging purely because of PIE funds and the transition - added to which is the normally soft first half. Then I put up the next view PGC is undervalued right now and its all related to uncertainty and that by in large is self inflicted in my opinion.
