EXCELLENT INITIAL DRILLING RESULTS AT CORACHAPI

Contact Uranium (‘Contact’) is pleased to announce preliminary results from its estimated 10,000m drilling programme at its Corachapi uranium project in Peru.

Key points:-
· Very long eU3O8 intersections include:-
54.73m @ 0.026% eU3O8
41.34m @ 0.034% eU3O8
35.09m @ 0.033% eU3O8
34.17m @ 0.056% eU3O8

· Mineralisation at or near surface

· Mineralisation significantly thicker than previously estimated

· New mineralisation also identified in areas between previous resource blocks

· Highest mineralisation grade is 2.07m @ 0.425% eU3O8

Commenting on the results, Contact's Executive Chairman Richard Napier said
"We are extremely excited by the results from the first 16 holes drilled at the north-western end of our resource. They are just the beginning, but have produced by far the longest continuous intersections of notable grade reported in
the Macusani area, significantly surpassing our own original depth estimates. They have also yielded some of the highest grade uranium mineralisation reported from Macusani to date. The fact that drilling has discovered mineralisation extending deeper than, and between, the current resource blocks lends a lot of weight to our supposition that a much larger mineralising system
exists at Corachapi."
