As far as currencies go, it's a race to the bottom with every man and his dog trying to devalue their currency and make their exports more competitive.
This is a global game of 'beggar thy neighbour' and the trade tensions & howls of outrage over these tactics will only escalate from here.
This is also a consequence of ballooning and unchecked global debt & out of control government spending. Every trick in the book will be used to try and kick the consequences down the road for as long as possible.
When every fiat currency is being engineered to devaluation by governments, or course money will flow to Gold, and even Crypto's (out of desperation) as people strive to try to protect their latent wealth and store value before the government steals it from them.
