How is this cheating and robbing people? Being short on a stock is no more unreasonable than being long.

Shorting an overvalued stock is the opposite of disgusting, don't get mad at others for making better deals than you.

Why wouldn't the largest holders of stock offer enable shorters if they have long positions. One of the two will be right.
