"assuming that the estimated cash outflows are realistic and remain stable around the $1.7m-$1.8m mark. What I am a bit surprised about, however, is that overall expenses came in at $3 million this quarter. It is good to see that estimated outflow for next quarter is significantly lower again, at $1.73m."
Pirate - I would not take any notice of the estimated cash outflows forecast by the Company. They have been so far off the mark in the past that I consider them a waste of time.
March '17 - actual exceeded forecast by approx. 22%
June '17 - Actual exceeded forecast by approx. 9% (not too far out)
Sept. '17 - Actual exceeded forecast by approx. 25%
Dec. '17 - Actual exceeded forecast by approx. 84%
I have to wonder if they really do a fair dinkum estimate of what they expect or whether they just grab some figures out of the air to complete the return. I appreciate that the costs are driven by sales the company needs to react accordingly but 84% is a big miss on forecasts.
