IMO - Australia may well be a hell of a lot better off if we do have a deal -- without the bumbling, self serving, arrogant bully of the USA in it --------------- Trump or no Trump.
We don't actually need them - and, yes, we are stuck with our politicians who are about as useful as teats on a bull - but, then, why make it worse by having America in a deal????
IMO -- we have enough customers for our stuff anyway -- and suppliers wise - there are plenty in the world who do things far cheaper than the yanks.
Let them supply their people with their own GM poisons, chemicals and whatever -
if they want to bugger us about with their iphones etc. - we will just buy Samsungs and the like -
we don't need America in our trade agreements - regardless of who is in Congress or who is President
