Iceman90, so true!
"We are one, but we are many. And from all the lands on earth we come. We share a dream and sing with one voice: I am, you are, we are Australian. " [Part of the song I AM AUSTRALIAN, sung by the Seekers.] For such a unifying song, the dangerous "politically correct" brigade want to create strife and division. They want to push RACISM. The definition of Racism - "prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior." IMO, Australians do not treat Aboriginals with discrimination, prejudice.
Another great song for today GREAT SOUTHERN LAND.
PS As I have written in another thread, Michael J. "Crocodile" Dundee: "Well, you see, ABORIGINES DON'T OWN THE LAND. THEY BELONG TO IT. It's like their mother. See those rocks? Been standing there for 600 million years. Still be there when you and I are gone. So arguing over who owns them is like two fleas arguing over who owns the dog they live on."
