Am hopping around ho Chi Minh , been here past 3 months, it’s a great plaice to start. I started off doing a intepid tour of Vietnam , tip to toe . On finishing tour decided to continue so did a week in Singapore as a visa run, an now feet firmly engrained in ho chin Minh district 1. Have been very lucky with accom , as I only booked a week on arrival, in that first week I did a walk of d1 looking for next accom, found Saigon kiko which was just opening with a 30% discount on opening specials . Was great, everything brand new , the staff where amazing. Couldn’t ask for better service. Now I’m just on my last 3 weeks so have found a old hotel, very very cheap as $300 for 3 weeks, but they have just extended up . an a new floor, hotel called ipeace hotel, so basically am again in brand new room. Across at the park they have the japan- vietnam cultural weekend, fantastic as every weekend there seems to be entertainment . Am easily keeping my spending to $500 pw.
