Hi All,
I'm back home after spending almost a week in Vancouver. Absolute highlight for me was meeting the XAM team there. I saw management, a few analysts, and other enthusiastic investors. While it has not caught on with retail yet, they are making HUGE progress with North American institutions/professionals. I do not know all the details. But I know for sure they had a very successful roadshow, that went to NYC, Toronto, Vancouver, and perhaps some other places.
@slowkoala , you had previously mentioned Xanadu needing to make changes to the marketing approach. I literally saw these changes with my own eyes! Very excited that they are making the transition to aggressive marketing in North America. I think the timing is perfect, and there should be more to say about this in coming weeks/months.
*In addition, I want to re-post a link that @freeheel kindly posted the other day: https://ceo.ca/xam.ax?8ff2fdbf52d2
start at that link, and then you can scroll down to follow. you don't need to be a member of that site to see the content.
@freeheel had an excellent contribution after my initial comments, and quoted an excellent post from @Budor here at HotCopper. When I posted that, I hadn't read the recent comments here. I just wanted to use the news release as a way to give a broad, somewhat balanced overview of where Xanadu is right now. I am very speculative in point #4. But I really do think this could be a key value driver for XAM in the near future.
Anyway, I hope that is a useful series of posts for those who want a more detailed overview of the company. And again, I thank @freeheel for his valued contributions to that commentary, and many contributions at HotCopper as well!
Cheers,
MBG
