The road to base camp seem very muddy, very unserviceable for lot of machinery, drilling rig, let alone if there was massive mine site. Would need large power source for major camp, site mine etc
would never massive water infrastructure also for mine operation and staff
this add up fast
also you need much better road for mine product movement and more, logistic is key, seem very isolated not sure how they get drill rig to position they need, very time consuming

also guyana gov would be very slow to move like all sa countires
