1PG and RFN were competing in the saturated HR space (as is EmploySure, EnableHR, ConnX, HCMS). There are literally thousands of technology solutions competing in this sphere offering the EXACT SAME PRODUCT to the exact same market.
GSW's product genuinely disrupts a stale market (last mile) where the only current solutions for any org is to:
- 3PL/4PL: outsource your entire supply chain to a few extremely expensive MNCs (one of which I happen to work for). Currently there are less than 40 companies offering 4PL in Australia.
- 2PL: Do it yourself and outsource delivery to a third party delivery company (like a UPS, AusPost). This is what 98% of businesses do.
- 1PL: Manage the entire supply chain yourself (buy your own trucks etc)
GSW targets 2PL and 1PL (Amazon, NAW, Lion Nathan, vendors using Albert POS to name a few) who manage massive stock levels with evolving, dynamic, JIT inventories and are unable to accurately predict customer purchases.
