    There is a lot of misinformation regarding trading/investing tax treatment on this thread.

    Here is my advise to anyone that is looking for information on tax treatment. ASK YOUR ACCOUNTANT!!!

    If you don't have a good accountant, get one & the sooner the better!!

    The only thing you need know before you contact one; is that you need to record every transaction you make, the date of purchase & sale, as well as the exchange rates on the day of deposit & withdrawal of funds from accounts.

    It's important to remember that the laws on tax treatment change regularly & its your accountants job to stay on top of such matters.
