It needs to be noted that all RE’s must have a licence that permits them to be the RE of the scheme and every new RE must obtain the approval of ASIC to act as RE and this process will apply to Huntleys Management Ltd, who are seeking to takeover as the new RE on behalf of growers. HML manage other schemes that have been approved by ASIC, but need to have TFS 2002 approved on their AFSL to act, but have made application to ASIC. The ASIC approval may not have take place before todays meeting.
