Think about how a royalty works. Dec qtr ends on the 31st Dec. It is then calculated and under terms reported 45 days later. So how can anyone pay for something before they know what the sales have been. And remember royalties are not like an invoice in a system. You colate dozens if not hundreds every qtr and processs payments.

Yes i have paid advance royalties in my roles but very rarely and not for chump change.

That's the usual sloppy way these reports have been written.
