From memory somewhere it was reported as a Wits type deposit.At that time I thought that they were just getting on the band wagon so consigned that to somewhere deep in my brain stem.Now we can take them more seriously.
I'm sure your up to speed on conglomerate deposits-if not read some of the Dec thread on IPT from Dr Mike Jones who did his Phd on Wits deposits.
The characteristic deposits are ancient and consist of small rounded nuggets in a layer. The big mistake NOVO resources made IMO is drilling these.If a sheet is drilled you may only get a few meters of nuggety find with a huge sampling error.
In one of Mike Jone's interview he said if we find, we mine.
The nuggets should come out in a gravity circuit and not need mush hammer mlling compared to quart vein or disseminated deposits.
