Ticky Fullerton interviewed Ruslan last night (Wed) on her Sky business news program ‘Ticky’’.
All told, the interview was a very ‘friendly’ one where Ruslan was almost encouraged to promote the brand and business and talk up the new verticals of insurance and NBN. He went to some length to emphasise that ‘parity of service’ is a key element of agreements with service providers, and ensures that customers who sign up for insurance, mobile, NBN etc. via Kogan will get an identical experience as those who sign up directly. “We do what we’re great at, our service providers do what they’re great at.”
Ruslan admitted that control over data is lost when selling Kogan private label through Amazon, but commented that incremental sales potential from using the Amazon platform is too great to ignore.
