Just received message on MedAdvisor App that I now have GP link operational. I guess that means it now has been released Australia wide. Coincides with codeine combination products going to prescription only. It enables me to request a prescription from a GP (delivered to me or a pharmacy) who has already been signed up by MedAdvisor. I also facilitates me to invite my own GP to sign up to MedAdvisor.
I gather the doctor gets a fee for providing the prescription with MedAdvisor receiving a cut. Does anyone know how much MedAdvisor receive for each transaction? I will try this myself when I need a new prescription.
I won't mind paying for this convenience so i think GP link is where the main revenue growth will come from here in Australia.
