this question sparked my interest so I went and had a look at the annual reports of the two companies
IDX
74% held by top 21
992 shareholders owning 1 to 100,000 shares
CAJ
55% had by top 20
7,827 shareholders owning 1 to 100,000 shares.
So I suspect just a numbers game. People who use Hot Copper are generally at the smaller end and there are just very few of those on the IDX register.
