This is going to be a good year for both Crypto and Blockchain technologies.

The fundermentals of Blockchain all started with Bitcoin and then Ethereum. As more organisations start to research the value that Blockchain provides through distributed ledgers, the value of and the use of Crypto Currencies and Tokens will be realised by mainstream businesses.

We are already seeing this with Bitcoin now being accepted by law firms, small businesss and at Brisbane airport. AUSCoin and the roll out of their Bitcoin ATM’s is a reality.

Blockchain and ALT Coins are already being applied to provide provenance through BeefLedger and a project has just launched in the Salmon / Fisheries industry. PowerLedger is leading the way in distributed power consumption industry.

Winding Tree has just launched their ICO providing an ALT Coin for the travel industry and has the support of well known airlines.

I am personally working on two Blockchain projects - one being for Government.
