In past T/O I have seen. The dividends are subtracted from the cash price.
The company is making a bid for the company at the bid date. Not for the state of the company in May (by which time it’s made another $20+ million!
So if div was 50c (which may or not be FF depending on the reserves) then your take over cash you get is $27.50.
Of course they might “sweeten” the deal by saying $28 plus div. if there is grumbling
Or if another bidder comes in etc
Just thoughts. Until we get the actual docs we don’t know I guess.
