1/ a no shop clause
2/ 1% break fee
Bayer might yet bid. They have a $1.5bn francise to protect in liver cancer for a very toxic chemo. You can imagine what would have to happen in the bearucrats of a 50,000 person company to make a decision.
I’m so happy making a big call personally and re-entering at $15 for a very large amount of shares. I had my doubts in the last year and big battle between logic and what was emotionally going on in my head. Made 7x beforehand in SRX 3 years ago. This time it was flat or even below my price and the doubts personally were so big. The hardest grind and most beautiful result of a SRX takeover.
That being said there was 7 companies interested from what I have heard behind the scenes.
Why not one of them buy OncoSil Medical ASX:OSL the only ASX player with similar intellectual property and the chairman of former SRX and former CEO of Cochlear? They have great data recently with 100% disease control rate, although small number of pancreatic patients and even better tumour reduction in HCC, liver cancer.
I bought some more OSL last year and hope this one pays off just like SRX
