    Hmmm well thanks for continuing to reply, I appreciate it. After normally being annoyed by your snarky posts I've actually warmed to your input over the last couple of days. But sadly I'm disappointed with this last post as I was expecting more based on what you'd implied previously.

    Best I can say is that I half agree. Agree that WGL needs to dive in (bust balls, to borrow a phrase) to marketing the product with urgency and passion, but then I really hope this is the case already. Totally agree on calling the big end of town and trying to arrange deals, but again I hope they already are.

    I don't much like the idea of wgl staff doing face to face marketing with general public or even in schools. It's just very slow and terribly inefficient. Hitting people up in malls is inefficient because half the people who you try to talk to aren't even your target audience and getting around to schools would take years (literally!) and end up be quite expensive (best they can do is plug into existing school networks and they are doing this!). And since you've given them a grand total of 2.5 mths (in holiday season) to deliver the miracles you expect, I don't believe your plans would achieve anything like your own expectations of customer growth. Avenues such as Facebook are by far more cost effective because the people seeing those adds are the target audience. You mention the recent suicide tragedy and the answer is that wgl have used that. I've seen the fb add relating to this and it was getting lots of shares with other users. It actually sounds like they are doing more than you realise.

    So at this point in time I feel the company is making the right moves given their circumstances. I'll admit it's taking a bit of faith to believe that they are pushing with the urgency we all hope they are, because they haven't given details of the campaign.

    But returning to my contentious numbers (haha), being an app which the market had almost no prior knowledge of, released in Nov, in 6 wks had around 3000-5000 downloads (hence why I can believe a sub base of 375, approx 10%, at qtr end), we now know android is well over 10000 downloads (and I'd bet my boots iOS is similar) and the growth will continue at an increasing rate. The process is working in my opinion and seems to be achieved in a fairly efficient way. Of course we don't appreciate this if we just fill our heads with the constant negativity of HC.

    I predict that in 3-4mths time we will have a number of our critical posters eating their words (but we see them embarrassing themselves constantly, so it won't be unusual).
