Wow I got a sparkie to replace 3 lights and fittings and instal 2 new lights including wiring switches and motion sensors for $350 + parts about 2 years ago.
Mind you Eastern Suburbs pricing is different, I worked over there more than 30 years ago doing demolition work with a builder and we charged extreme rates and they always paid often in cash.
