I posted on this thread that due to very high gearing in the DOW, there would be some sell off of gold to cover the margin calls. I used a figure that I had recently read, but admit I cannit find that article to “prove” it to you.
Fact is my post was in reference to margin calls more than exact leverage figure.
You did not take me to task about the margin calls leading to gold sell off, rather focussing on the detail of leverage figure.

Just today, there are numerous references on this thread by others referring to leverage, and selling of gold to meet loan committments. None of which you bothered to take up.

I posted an excerpt, then the whole article regarding leverage again, and again you want to ignore the underlying basis of the thread and get personal.
