when will umc fire, page-2

i also am interested in the 'when?' question ....

to my mind the drilling starts next week and it should not take long for there to be a response to some thick juicy cores. would also hope that the wider market will pick up heading towards Christmas.

UMC has had some great announcements on down days and has really stagnated while waiting for direction. You'd have to say though, that holding at .90 is a pretty good effort given gains this year (albeit a 40% retrace from highs) ... also must remember that there's some corporate action still to play out re THR and when everyone is happy with their starting positions i suspect it will be game on again.

UMC have two world class projects and both are in the right space. Once they start selling the message the exciting thing is that there are not that many shares on issue to be got by the big boys. Oppies sold this week at .65 could well be worth a lot lot more within six months ..... cash injection from oppies will kick umc to the next level and its hard not to see this at that long mooted (now rarely mentioned) $2 mark.

im holding, waiting, but expecting things to get exciting in the new year. if i had more cash id be buying more oppies.

incidentally, when is the IO price rise due?
