Yeah it's hard to tell hey.
I don't think it will go full-on bear, but at this stage it doesn't matter. Good stocks are down 15-20% today (and anywhere from 30-50% from the last two weeks) so even if any one of them released a 'game changing' announcement, it would only get back to current levels - and, for the most part, probably not rise much at all.
If I was running a company and was sitting on a soon-to-be-released material announcement, I would be hoping like heck that I could hold off releasing it until at least next week* to catch the ride back up. Case in point: even if AVZ say that CATL is going to absorb the whole operation, the general investment mood has turned to such a degree (in my opinion) that the SP wouldn't be stoked much at all. Couple that with the recently announced DRC tax, and nobody may even give it a look in. And that's "...the worlds biggest supplier".
Perhaps overly pessimistic, but that's the what I have gauged from the safety of my shell.
