"Open your eyes."

My eyes are always open, so are my ears, and my mind. Are yours the same ?

have you ever considered, even for a moment, that perhaps your "good news" are really not shared by the majority of people and thus not reported that widely ?

the lifeblood of print media and other forms of media is their readeship, viz. their circulation. Circulation is what attracts advertisers who pay good money to advertise their products in those media. Any prolonged carraiage of news that are not at odds with main stream feelings will see their circulation dwindling and with it the advertising dollars.

You are the one who are blinded by your view of the world, to the exclusion of other credible views. You are the one who need to, not just open your eyes, but open your mind as well to take in the totality of the diversity of opinions and with it a better understanding of this global world that we all share, that is, unless you much prefer to live in your own little world.
