Yep, I think retirement is getting closer for me, certainly. Getting grumpier and grumpier. So many egotistical, loud and opinionated first world people. Not for me. I can see myself withdrawing more and more from the general noise and searching for some new meaning in my life. Will be an interesting journey. You pay the money and you take the ride.
A nice small community, doing some meaningful volunteer work, a bit of physical labour, a bit of learning, rediscovering some hobbies and interests - that will probably be more than enough to see me out. Will keep you posted.
