This has been coming for some time .The advent of twitter and a market where anyone with the right knowhow can do anything they like with specs has seen a lot of false heroes created and as always many people are going to learn the hard way that when the worm turns you don't want to be caught dead in a lot of these hyped stocks.

I see a lot of comfort talk out there for those who have lost dosh ,if this is your first time suck it up , what has happened so far is to me fairly mild and nothing but the first decent correction in a secular bull market . That's just an opinion ,I'm not hanging my hat on it , but I'm starting to get somewhat excited by the prospect of opportunity again opening up in the market . It may take time but to me the conditions aren't right for a crash type scenario , I'd love to see the Dow back at 20/2100 for a reset , it may not happen, one can only hope.

The only advice I can give to short term and spec traders is that yesterday's hero stocks and the ones you've had on your watchlist because they're going up are unlikely to be the ones you can make big coin in when the next run up comes . Firstly even if there's a bounce and semi recovery it takes time for the punters to regain their composure ,and the stocks that they've all been in and got sold down generally get sold into because they're all happy to get out higher . These are generally high volume, lots of shares on issue stocks and it's going to be a lot more difficult for them to raise money in the next market phase.

For the next whenever there is likely to be a flight to quality specs with solid fundamentals ,good management , tight register and capacity to either fund or have funds at their disposal .

There's no hurry , take the time to let the market sort itself out , there's going to be hundreds of stocks to choose from over the next few months.
