Either the insiders sell on the announcement, or before the announcement. Apart from today's example of GXY, two other recent examples of note: KAL and UMC. Posting rates increase x hundreds of %s, new posters with indepth knowledge appear all of a sudden, the sentiment is built up to almost a frenzy awaiting on the 'big' ann. As hotcopperites & daytraders are buying in pushing the stock to new heights, the insiders (some of them multinicers, some associated with broking houses) are selling their stock to them.
(IMO, GXY, UMC & KAL all have very bright futures).

Always be wary of any stock going through a hotcopper posting frenzy awaiting the big ann. As danielle44d points out, genuine posters have a good track record based on valuable comments, it pays to use the search function on hotcopper to check posters past calls.
