The problem is that that is exactly how SkyNews operates in its interview...it's a soundbite interview and nothing more. Well known to those experienced. He got caught out a little, sadly.
Personally I think they need to focus on other matters rather than trying to get in front of the media at this early stage as the media can be rough if you are not prepared. Maybe Tom at Commsec for a short prepared interview would be a better approach for him and some lessons on public speaking.
