You understood the EQN story, all I saw was risk. I understood the CVN story, you saw risk. It is about selecting good stocks you understand AND buying when the price is compelling.
Whilst they might be just as good it is too easy to get someone else's favourites wrong. To buy at the wrong time/price, to bailout in fright or to hold in stupidity.
Right now oil stocks are looking better imo than nickel - but as I am sure you'd agree, need to be doubly discerning in oil sector stock selection (or a trader).
I am perplexed by two things in nickel atm. 1)Is Xstrata holding the price down? 2)Why are nickel stocks holding/rising with pon falling - is this ex JBM money chasing alternatives up?
