you can probably judge whether Barnaby is religious or not by his words and actions.
When i hear him speak he doesn't come across as overtly religious although he's known to be a Catholic.

Ditto Tony Abbott.
Someone like Bob Hawke could articulate his change in views, rejecting religion as a young man and becoming an atheist while in his 20's.
