Liberal/National Coalition 5,741,938 47.14 -5.60
Australian Labor Party 6,439,795 52.86 +5.60
Thus the Alp has a majority of 697,757 votes!
Push the numbers any way you like but The COALITION retreated by 5.6% which is what the ALP progressed by!
That's the fact that matters, pecs. The only important fact.
It was a two-horse race and the Coalition came second. Race over. Next race in three year's time and it will be just another race. All bets will be off. Both horses will try and do their best (or worst)!
