thats an interesting thought
i have and always live by the rule
never short a company that has any link to takeover talks
definitely buy on the dips and ride the highs but shorting would to me be suicidal,you could wake to a mssive problem one night
A recent example of this would be RIO, alot of people were shorting the day before that famous LSE announcement while we slept of BHP intentions. For shorters that day was a nasty day

I would also consider the fundamentals of ZFX and the market seems to be waking to that as well ( tchnicals would have a double bottom just recently as well)
A fair value of ZFX to me is around 1945, so it is heavily discounted at the moment with wads of cash in the bank and commodities coming of a pretty rough month

I did have 15,000 and sold thursday and friday mornings
I could have done the wrong thing with metals so strong as i was hoping to pick them up again monday tuesday for low 15's i might not be so lucky now

anyway good luck your short you have better nerve than i
