G'day straws! (AL8 contact remember!!)
I picked it up on racenet and on watching it was staggered that the protest was dismissed. It is up there one of the worst for sure! Bad luck!! All- but 1 comment on racenet says "BAD".
An equally bad decision was in the 2003 Queensland Oaks when Zagalia beat The Jewel by 2 lengths and the protest was dismissed, even though C Munce on Z ran TJ off the track virtually for the last 200ms or so. TJ would have won handsomely had it not been severely interfered with.
Perhaps today was worse now I think about it more. Your horse was interfered with twice - out then back in. Without just 1 piece of interference it would have won.
Do you own any horses? I used to!
