I am very wary of dodgy claims for alternative energy.
New South Wales has more than 12 GW of generating capability to supply 6 million people.
Meanwhile in Britain, they claim that 25 GW of wind generating capability ( thats about twice the total generating capability in NSW from all sources ), will supply all the households in Britain ( which has 60 million people, ten times as much as NSW ).
And thats with wind generation which effectively operates only about 35% of the time ( when the wind blows ).
Unless the people of Britain are using 5 times less electricity that the people of NSW ( and I don't believe that they are ), its simply not true.
