This Company's story is simple.
Aurora Minerals started picking up drainage systems which ran through, around and from hot granites (when they had enough they spun it off into the biggest calcrete uranium explorer in WA). These drainages showed evidence of mapped calcrete, but seemed to have one very big common trait. They are mostly covered in sand. As the story emerged it became evident that all those early uranium starters looking for calcrete uranium in WA had merely picked up old workings, small deposits or drainage systems with known mineralisation. So it would appear the plan was simple.
A) look where no one else looked
B) look where a deposit could form
So the question will invariably be answered sometime next year. Is this the first discovery since the early 70's of a calcrete uranium deposit in WA? 3 out of 3 grab samples are already consistent with the biggest deposit of them all Yellirrie!
As for Desert Energy's parent Aurora Minerals - well keep watching them. They put together another Calcrete uranium portfolio which they look like getting started on soon and their Capricorn project could be the Mt Isa province of WA - and Yep - they have practically got the lot.
Both of these Company's are extremely active at the moment.
Good Luck
