Imo and i have read and reread the AFR articles in conjunction with all the relevant company announcements and to me some clearly explained answers can resolve the questions that have been raised.

The AFR never, not once, imo raised any new questions but went about there articles using very selective language jumping from one point to another leaving readers to determine the article in their own way.
Depending on the type of person you are you might see the glass half full or half empty and imho with what was going on with the dow caused some panicking selling which undoubtedly led to people acting like sheep and following the leader.

Looking at short positions from Monday 5 Feb being 325k units out of total 1.1m units this seems quite high, however imho we had been tracking basically sideways for a month off no to little volume. At that point it would seem that it wouldn't take much short selling to occur to shake up the share price by 5% or so falls in one day.

I do find it interesting now that obvious downrampers and assume that some of these individuals still have short positions open are now trying to suggest pillar 3 is over amongst other things. Are they doing this on purpose because they have just twigged? Only time will tell.
