I think shorters have no choice now but to buy back as they were steered down a false road from brokers who have no idea about the lithium market.
SQM deliberately made statements to fool the masses into thinking we will have an oversupply of lithium tomorrow. The truth is it will take them up to 5 years to 10 years to double and triple their production. In the meantime demand will keep increaing. SQM just wanted the small players to leave the market all to themselves.
We have some dumb brokers who got their clients to short anything lithium but I do thank them as I bought again at 80c yesterday.
