Yeah but how does that doctor or whomever become licensed to prescribe MC ? How do they get on approved lists for a GP referral? How does this work with different state laws ? And how is this regulated in Australia ? Legislation takes years to pass, especially such controversial ones, so this will be needed both federally and at a state level. I'm not saying all this can't be done and I'm not suggesting the clinic model isn't the one for Australia. I just want to know more details. In looking at the uni of sydney page it suggests only 150 (that's 150) patients receive MC under the current legislatively correct schemes. Clearly thousands go through illegal methods. My point is there is a whole administrivia, regulatory and bureaucratic framework that may need to change in order for this clinic model to get off the ground. THC will have little or no ability to change the legislative framework. So are we 5 years out, or 10 years out from revenue from these oz clinics ? What feasibility study has been done by THC on this ? If I were thc I'd abandon that and focus on selling to Canada where all that has already been worked out. When a clearer timeline for oz clinics revenue is available then and only then pour money into it. Now they may have done some of this. My point is it's not transparent to me and potentially the EGM may answer these things ? If the question is raised.
