My last say (possibly lol) on this matter is that I think as a nation we’re being too Puritan over this affair.
Yes it is an awful circumstance for Joyce’s wife, his children, Vicki Campion and the soon to be born babe.
However the press as a pack are howling and prowling for blood, as are the Labor Party in slightly more subtle form. Walk a mile in someone’s shoes the saying begins.
I think Joyce should stay in his role as Deputy PM and face his voters next election. At this stage I feel he’ll be voted out, but if he rallies and does the right thing by his family, is supportive of Campion and is effective at work he may scrape through.
