BMW on verge of multiyear lithium and cobalt deal, page-14

I'll be surprised if the deal for BMW is with AUZ (not that I would complain), largely because everything I've read implies that it's a combined lithium and cobalt deal. Obviously these don't need to be done with the same company - but if they aren't then there is probably no reason for them to be done at the same time either.

Then again the wording of these things isn't always accurate, so while it does say "landmark 10 year lithium and cobalt deal", there is nothing to say they aren't securing the cobalt deal right now, and talking with someone else about the lithium as well (lithium being the far easier of the two to source).

At the end of the day it doesn't matter too much as just having any off-take agreement will be fantastic. Having a big brand name certainly wouldn't hurt though.
