Correct! Myself was the one who made contact and yes currently they are planning on using electrolysis and some new tech from the CSRIO, nothing is set in stone as yet, as planning and construction has not even started, I believe it just was a preliminary plans & electrolysis was the best proven functioning commercial system at that point of time, they will be doing more research on hydrogen tech up until 2020. Hazer is yet to prove themselves commercially yet, but I would say in 2 years time, the S.A. govt may revisit the Hazer tech.

The state of South Australia which I reside, are forward thinking currently looking to boost the jobs and business since the loss of alot of manufacturing jobs.

The state of S.A. believe there could be millions of fuel cell cars on the roads by 2030 and want to be apart of the clean hydrogen production.

If fuel cells take off globally, hazer may have a small chance on squeezing into the hydrogen plan still in S.A. as the owner of Whyalla steelworks owner Sanjeev Gupta wants to make electric cars in Adelaide, and his steel works could use hazer tech.
