Having worked for and with them i can tell you they are very different and have different risk appetites and resources. In the really bad old days i was at Arthur Andersen...they audited Bond Corp, HIH and FAI (not to mention Enron!) when no one else would touch them. No coincidence they disappeared. HML could ruin BDO whereas it would be a rounding error for a global Big 4.
