Yeah so its something we have debated at work quite a lot. There is this arguement of EVs vs Fuel Cells. I see it like VHS and Betamax, Betamax wasnt necessarily bad but the masses chose VHS and I see electric vehicles being the VHS in this scenario.

The more car manufacturers see that EV is the winning formula, the more they come on board and realise they need to sure up supply to stay relevant. I think we will see a lot more of this especially with experts coming out and saying you cant replace cobalt entirely and that lithium ION batteries will be the norm over solid state for some time as the technology will continue to evolve and costs reduce.
