Took my biggest ever trading parcel of PRU on close Tues at 40c actually biggest trading parcel full stop. Gold looked like it was going to attempt a reversal and it did and Pru just looked oversold after its run up on news and momentum trading, also it appeared to me to have genuine support around 40c. PRU usually provides the best upside to POG moves but yet not this week, also when poor old RSG has a better day than PRU it is a little worrying to say the least.
I am genuinely surprised by the lack of volume and performance on both these stocks today along with gold crossing the daily MACD without much of a movement (yet?). Are investors nervous or is trying to be held below 1366 before the US markets open? Because gold looks like a sound long bet at the moment on all analysis and anyone who mopped up those what I would term gift shares at 42 and 42.5 today congrats and enjoy next week.
