The observation was made earlier today that HC posts have negligible (if any) effect on the share price. The particular post referenced the millions of shares that comprise the $300 million market CAP, saying words to the effect "do you think a few small trades by a handful of retail investors can make a dent in the price?"
Well the answer is simple, if they're only shares being traded then, YES, they will make a difference. Certainly, when the big funds, instos and high net worths are trading with force then NO, HC retail investors will have negligible effect.
However, in these 'tween' times while the market is a bit stunned by recent DOW corrections and things are a bit lack lustre back on the little 'ol ASX, a few spooked retail investors are going to be able to shift the price.
Some people are banking on it (and have announced their intentions to do exactly that).
