I think you will find that a general security agreement like this one is not uncommon, especially when an established company (Finstro/FC Capital) about to take a risk and get into bed with a startup (BIG).
Here's an example - at the time of the agreement, Finstro took on a huge risk when they are front loading cash to BIG (to fund video production) yet not receiving the full payment from the customer until the 12 month subscription is complete. What if BIG were not successful in this period and the company closed its doors? Customer payments would stop. If Finstro had only received say 2 out of 12 monthly payments from thousands of customers, they would be stuck with a huge debt.
Hence the collateral.
